Sandra Lee Pypniowski, 58, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, died Feb. 3, 2002, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born May 6, 1943, in Indianapolis, Ind., to James Clayton and Dorothy Jean McGee Collingwood.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her husband Raymond and son Lonnie Broyles, both of Carson City; daughters Debbie Brown of Silver Springs and Kim Venhaus of Nyssa, Ore.; brothers James Clayton Collingwood Jr. of Las Vegas, Dennis Gray of Huntsville, Utah, Jerry Gray of Lancaster, Calif., David Gray of LaHabra, Calif. and Kirk Douglas of Eugene, Ore.; sisters Judith Diane Hill of Carson City and Karen Hodge of Elko; mother Dorothy Jean Gray of Palmdale, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
A private family service will be at a later date.
