A memorial service will be Thursday for Johnnie "J.J." Lee Hill Jr., 18, a Stagecoach resident for 15 years. The service will be held 5 p.m. at the Stagecoach Community Center.
Born Sept. 30, 1983, in Carson City to Johnnie and Janice Hill, Mr. Hill graduated from Dayton High School in 2001. A Christian, he was learning to frame houses.
He was preceeded in death by his step-grandfather Gerald Brace in 2000.
He is survived by his mother and father; two sisters, Jennifer Kelly and Jessica Hill; grandmothers Ruth Wolff and Bettye Brace; grandfather Johnnie Hill; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
