Philma Ruby Clark, 64, a Silver Springs resident for the past eight years, died Feb. 5, 2002, in Silver Springs. No services will be held.

Mrs. Clark was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Bishop, Calif., to Phillip and Audrie Perkins Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Clark Sr. March 17, 1995; her father Phillip Carpenter and two half-brothers.

She married Robert Clark Sr. in 1956.

Prior to living in Silver Springs she resided in Denver.

Mrs. Clark owned a store called Second Time Around for two years in New Mexico. She has been retired for 16 years. She was an artist and traveled to many art shows to sell her paintings.

Among her survivors are her sons Robert Clark Jr. of Nevada and Darryl Clark of Arizona; mother Audrie Carpenter of Colorado; sister Donna Wailes of Colorado; half-brother Phillip Carpenter of California, three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
