Obituary -- Sally Ann Long

A service for Sally Ann Long, 72, a Fallon resident for the past 46 years, will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Smith Family Funeral Home, Fallon.

Mrs. Long died Jan. 16, 2002. She was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Oakdale, Calif., to Harvey Gene and Elsie Rose Shields Hand.

Before moving to Fallon, she lived in Carson City for 10 years.

Mrs. Long was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her son Lester D. Rabe.

Among her survivors are her sons Carl Eugene Rabe and David Paul Rabe, both of Carson City and Marlon Harvey Long of New Mexico; daughters Patsy Jean Rabe of Dayton and Elsie Rose Harvey of Fallon; brother Donald Hand of Wyoming; sister Betty Hammersky of California; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary is in charge of arrangements .
