Rosemary Armstrong, 78, a Dayton and Nevada resident for the past 18 years, died Jan. 26, 2002, in Reno. She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Shelburn, Ind., to Orlando and Vivian Hardin Nelson.
Before moving to Nevada, she lived in San Jose, Calif.
Mrs. Armstrong was a great cook, a Sunday School teacher and a military wife. She was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Clyde Armstrong Jr.
Among her survivors are her son Clyde III of Pleasanton, Calif.; daughters Nancy J. Pearson and Jill Armstrong, both of Dayton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
