The Silverada 11-12-year-old all-star team of Dayton suffered its first loss in the district Little League tournament in Carlin, but still has a chance to advance to the championship round.

Silverada is now 3-1 in the tournament after beating White Pine 11-0 and losing to Elko 10-3. Silverada will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday and if it wins, will advance to the championship round against Elko on Saturday.

Against White Pine, Brandon Aguilera pitched three innings and Michael Vincent went one inning to combine on the four-hit shutout in the game that was called after four innings. Zack Rispin, Aguilera and Shiloh Oden all had two hits for Silverada.

Silverada then couldn't overcome a 10-run first inning for Elko. Anthony Onstott doubled and Rispin, Aguilera and Cory Yoder all added hits for Silverada.
