The following people were taken into custody at the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
-- Rosario Russell Moreno, 38, of Carson City, no occupation listed, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Monday in the first block of Shady Tree Lane for investigation of domestic battery and elderly abuse. In the course of an argument, Moreno allegedly put his father in a head lock and hit him in the back. Bail was set at $23,105.
-- Michelle I. Demme, 25, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday at the Carson City Sheriff's Department for the investigation of forgery and uttering forged instruments. Bail was set at $12,500.
-- A 35-year-old Carson City truck driver was arrested at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Como Street for the investigation of violation of a protective domestic order. Bail was set at $3,105.
-- A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:27 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Sandstone Drive for the investigation of first-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.
-- A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday at U.S. 50 and Graves Lane for the investigation of first-offense DUI and expired license plates. Bail was set at $1,145.
-- A 19-year-old Reno mail clerk was arrested at 11:53 p.m. Monday on U.S. 395 for the investigation of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, failing to drive within marked lanes and being a minor possession of alcohol. Bail was set at $2,325.
-- A 19-year-old Carson City fast food worker was arrested at 8:32 a.m. Monday at the Carson City Jail for the investigation of battery by a prisoner. Bail was set at $5,000.
