A memorial service for Anthony Ralph "Tony" Shane, 89, a Stockton, Calif. resident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel in Stockton, Calif.
Mr. Shane died Feb. 26, 2002. He was a native of Fallon.
He was a retired employee of the Nevada Department of Highways, where he worked for 20 years, a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies Lodge No. 692 and 310, Pillars Lodge of Sacramento and the Orient of Nevada. He owned and operated Tony Tots Baby Shops in Sacramento and Salinas.
Mr. Shane was a veteran of World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife Marie of Stockton; children Antonia Hills of Las Vegas, Patrick Shane of Lake of the Pines, Calif., Susan Hill of Reno, Michael Shane of Dayton, Catherine Nordby of Denver, Colo., Roman Shane of Folsom, Calif., Paul Shane of Stockton, Eugene Russell of Colfax, Calif., Michele Aldaya of Lee Summit, Mo., Patrick Russell of Clakamas, Ore., Robin Russell of North Bend, Wash. and Shannon Russell of Salem, Ore; brother George of Kelso, Wash. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 24252 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, Calif. 95817.
DeYoung Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
