WELLINGTON -- Funeral services for Nathan Julius Grosvenor, 49, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Grosvenor family home, 48 Wellington Cutoff, off of Canal Road in Wellington.
Mr. Grosvenor died Feb. 28, 2002, at home. He was born June 20, 1952, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Carol and Margaret Grosvenor.
He was a graduate of Garden Valley High School and attended Boise State University for one year until joining the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Grosvenor worked in the transportation business in Emmett, Idaho, Portland, Ore., and in Smith Valley.
He met his wife, Elaine, in Smith Valley and has lived there for the past nine years.
He had a strong love for his family and enjoyed spending time working with the local 4-H and FAA programs.
Mr. Grosvenor was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Delbert.
He is survived by his wife; a brother Richard; a sister Gloria Corn; and his children Bea and son-in-law Kevin Sterba; Phoebe and son-in-law Jeff Williams; Carl and his daughter-in-law Lindsay Grosvenor, Amy, Marcie and Carrie Grosvenor and three grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the local 4-H or FAA groups.
The Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
