The Golf Learning Center at Eagle Valley Golf Club will begin its junior program during the first week of April.
PGA pro Terry Gingell will teach the program, which is for boys and girls ages 7-16 and is available to all skill levels. The program will run from April through September with October to be used for makeup dates.
The class consists of one session per week from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Participants must come on the same day each week.
The extensive junior program covers all aspects of the game, including full swing, short game, rules of the game and rules of etiquette. Lessons will be on the golf course once a month.
A graduation process will be used to allow students to progress at their own pace. Cost per student is $175.
Gingell is also offering group instruction for adults, beginning in April. Six one-hour lessons will be offered for $75.
A free clinic will also be offered by Gingell from 9 to 11 a.m. March 31. The clinic will introduce participants to the game and provide an excellent chance to ask questions.
For more information on any of the programs, call Gingell, 887-7174.
