Jesters Jog to be held April 6

The Jesters Jog will be held on Saturday, April 6 at the Pinon Plaza.

The race will begin at 9 a.m. There will be 10K and 2-mile runs, a 2-mile walk and a 1-mile children's run.

The non-refundable entry fee is $20 if post-marked by March 31 and $25 after March 31. A family rate of $65 will be offered for families with two adults and two children. The family rate after March 31 will be $75.

Cost for members of the Sagebrush Stompers, Tahoe Mountain Milers and Silver State Striders is $17 and $25 after March 31.

Cost for the children's run for ages 7 and under is $10, which includes a t-shirt.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada.

Age divisions will be: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and over. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age division in the 10K and 2-mile runs and to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 2-mile walk. All children's run participants will receive an award.

All registered race participants will receive a race shirt. Packets may be picked up on race day only.
