Fernley's Matt Leestma shot a 3-over-par 76 to place second and become a medalist at a 3A golf tournament hosted by the Vaqueros on Friday in Fallon.
Leestma led Fernley to a fourth place finish as the Vaqueros shot a 432. Spring Creek won with a 401 and was followed by Truckee (411) and Manogue (417). Lowry (433) was fifth, Yerington (456) placed sixth and Dayton (459) took seventh.
