Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on Monday in connection with a drive-by shooting at a home May 11.
The teen is charged with one count of felony firing a weapon at an occupied home.
Scott Burau, chief deputy of the Carson City Sheriff's Department, said the boy was picked up on a juvenile probation warrant.
Police already suspected him of involvement in the May 11 shooting of a home on Woodside Drive. In the early morning hours, someone fired at least five rounds into the renovated garage of the home. Earlier in the evening, the boy arrested was involved in an altercation with one of the tenants.
"This boy readily admitted being in the earlier altercation and shooting into the house," Burau said.
