District Court sentencings

The following people were sentenced in District Court last week:

-- Craig Joseph Atley, 42, from Carson City, was sentenced to five years probation May 14 for felony trafficking. He was arrested Oct. 5, 2001, and pleaded guilty March 25.

-- Heracleo Gonzalez-Garcia, 29, of Carson City, was sentenced May 14 to three years probation and was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $346 for felony trafficking. He was arrested Oct. 24, 1996 and pleaded guilty March 26.

-- James Anthony Hertz, 47, of Sun Valley, was sentenced May 13 to 12 to 30 months in prison for third offense drunken driving. He was arrested Nov. 11, 2001 and pleaded guilty March 11.

-- Laura Marie Neill, 27, of Reno, was sentenced May 13 to six months in jail suspended for two years probation for gross misdemeanor attempted theft. She was arrested Jan. 29, 2001, and pleaded guilty April 15.

-- Beau Jeffrey Server, 19, of Carson City, was sentenced May 13 to three years probation and 40 hours of community service for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested March 12 and pleaded guilty April 15.

-- William Allen Griffin, 37. of Carson City was sentenced May 13 to a $1,000 fine and $600 restitution for attempted theft. He was arrested Feb. 18 and pleaded guilty April 8.

-- Edward Manion Greer, 33, of Oroville, Calif., was sentenced May 15 to a $1,000 fine and $600 restitution after pleading guilty April 8 to attempted theft. He was arrested Nov. 21, 2001.
