A video featuring footage from Bordewich-Bray Elementary School and the struggle the school has faced because of toxic mold will be aired on Carson Access Television during the next two weeks.

Students in Carson High School's video-production class interviewed school officials and alumni from the school in support of a $3.75 million bond issue in this year's election.

The bond money would be used to replace five modular classrooms on the school's campus, which were destroyed after they were found to be infested with three types of toxic mold.

In addition to the video, officials are organizing various campaigns to gather support.

Saturday, about 70 volunteers walked neighborhoods surrounding Bordewich-Bray, Mark Twain and Seeliger elementary schools to encourage residents to vote for the bond.

Another walk is scheduled for Nov. 2.
