A funeral for John Peter Jensen, 67, a Carson City resident, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Jensen died Oct. 22, 2002, at his home. He was born June 30, 1935, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Peter and Edith Jensen Clemmesen.
He attended schools in Denmark and moved to the United States in 1962.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in the San Francisco Bay area for 41 years.
Mr. Jensen owned bakeries in the Bay area and worked in sales until retiring a year ago. He enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with his family.
He served in the Danish military after high school.
Among his survivors are Ina Jensen-Stewart, mother of his children; sons Jimmi Jensen of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Kim Jensen of Carson City; sisters Yvonne, Kristin and Ingelise, all of Denmark; grandchildren Derek and Dana Jensen of South Lake Tahoe and Ina Jensen of Chile, South America, and daughter-in-law Darlene Jensen of South Lake Tahoe.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
