A former Carson City resident and her 17-year-old daughter are looking for their 8-month-old dog who disappeared while the family was visiting relatives over the weekend.

Kristy Scott and her daughter Casey are offering $50 for the return of Kissyfur, a brown, long-haired Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix.

"We're pretty crushed," said Scott, who lived in Carson City for eight years before moving to Tehachapi, Calif. "We're just praying that she's all right. Someone will fall in love with her, she's just a little dolly."

Scott said Kissyfur is subject to seizures and if someone finds her, she should have food and water available. Scott treats the seizures with a little taste of corn syrup to boost the dog's blood sugar.

The dog slipped out of the yard on Round House Lane in the neighborhood of Fifth and Saliman on Saturday. Scott believes she was found and asks anyone with information to call her cell phone at 661-549-2365. Family members can be reached at 882-5648 or 841-0308.

"Wherever she is, we'll come pick her up," Scott said.
