Carson players help led Red Dogs baseball

The Nevada Red Dogs baseball team, which includes several Carson High players, is off to an impressive start to the fall seaosn.


The Red Dogs have gone 4-0, beating Galena 14-0, Carson 17-0 and the Sparks Tribe 3-1 and 16-4.


Against Galena, Carson's Jon Teeter went 1-for-2 with three RBIs, Dayton's Matt Bowman and Carson's Owen Brolsma were each 1-for-2 with an RBI and Carson's Willie Bowman added an RBI.


Carson's Jake Rasner pitched a no-hitter, striking out six and walking two in the four-inning game against Carson. Carson's Neil Holmes went 1-for-1 with an RBI, Teeter, Matt Bowman and Brolsma all added hits and Willie Bowman added two RBIs.


In the Red Dogs' 3-1 win over the Tribe, Holmes and Teeter each doubled. In the 16-4 win, Brolsma had a hit and an RBI and Teeter went 1-for-2.
