A memorial service for Beryl Green, 49, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bruce Kochsmeier officiating.
Mrs. Green died at home of breast cancer. She was born Aug. 7, 1953, in Pigeon, Mich., to Edwin and Helene Herre Parsell.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Incline Village, coming from Naples, N.Y.
She married Jim Green May 28, 1971, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Mrs. Green was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother Karl Parsell of Canandaigua, N.Y.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughter Chrissy at UNR; son Demond and son and daughter-in-law Greg and Cynthia, all of Carson City; mother Helene Parsell of Naples; brothers and sisters-in-law Ted and Patty Parsell of Chicora, Pa. and Lee and Michelen Parsell of Canandaigua; sisters and brothers-in-law Doris and Gary Chapman of Naples and Katherene and Steve Martin of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and grandchildren Shelby and Hunter Green of Carson City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
