Billie J. Kennedy, 62, a Silver Springs resident for the past nine years, died Sept. 14, 2002, in Silver Springs. Mrs. Kennedy was born July 27, 1940, in Calumet.
Before moving to Silver Springs, she lived in Carson City for 10 years.
Mrs. Kennedy attended New Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs.
Among her survivors are her husband Anthony; daughters LaDonna Carlin and Tina Keep, both of Silver Springs, Jodie Tester of Mesquite and Merri Baker of Silver Springs; 15 grandchildren; mother Iona Mae Jesson and brothers Bob Moore of Potter Valley, Calif., Ken Moore of Indio, Calif. and John Moore of Milton Freewater, Ore.
A memorial service was held at the New Faith Baptist Church.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
