Mary R. Kiewicz, 82, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, died March 29, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Pasadena, Calif., to Eugene and Mary Bickford James.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Covina, Calif.
Mrs. Kiewicz was a member of AARP. She loved to play bingo and spend time with her family. She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in November 1988; daughter Donna Nuckolls in April 2002; and brother, Earl James.
Among her survivors are her sons Jack and Pat Young of Victorville, Calif., and Fred Young of Covina; daughters Jean Card of Bend, Ore., and Kelly Whittington of Carson City; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services are pending.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
