A funeral for Alice L. Crandall, 82, of Carson City resident will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. before the service.
Mrs. Crandall died April 1, 2003, at home. She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in St. Paul, Minn., to Edward S. and Sylvia E. Parsons Bowers.
She married Ralph Crandall.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Portland, Ore.
Mrs. Crandall was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Elks and Eagles clubs in Portland and Carson City. She enjoyed making handmade calendars and loved scrapbooking. She was a Presbyterian.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Deana Crandall in 1977.
Among her survivors are her husband of 65 years and son Robert, both of Carson City; son Dale of Port Orchard, Wash.; daughters Janice Glahn and Sandra Boyd, both of Carson City; sisters Janet Bernard of Longmont, Colo., Jeanette Bowers of Greeley, Colo., and Evelyn Hernandez of Minneapolis; brother, Edward Bowers of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
