Those big game tags are awarded through various computerized drawings conducted by the Nevada Division of Wildlife (NDOW) at the Wildlife Administrative Office in Fallon.
The 2003 deadline for receiving big game hunting tag applications at the Fallon office is 5 p.m. on April 21.
Applications must be sent via an authorized postal service or by use of the Internet.

All students must pre-register, obtain course materials and complete a workbook prior to attending the class.
The classes will be taught by volunteer instructors certified by the Nevada Division of Wildlife NDOW).
Some of the subjects to be covered include the safe handling of rifles, pistols and handguns, hunter ethics, conservation, first-aid and wilderness survival.
The Carson City classes will be held at the Capital City Gun Club Clubhouse, just off Arrowhead Drive near the Eagle Valley West Golf Course.
