Early morning snowfall forced postponement of a scheduled meeting between the Carson and Douglas high school softball teams.

The game has been rescheduled for Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Carson and is important because both teams are tied for third-place in the Sierra League and battling for berths in the Northern 4A Regional Tournament next month. Douglas is 5-4 in league and Carson 6-5.

Carson travels to Reno today to play a league doubleheader against Hug and also visits league-leading Wooster on Tuesday.
