Tom Dawson of Hidden Valley Country Club defended his title in the Sierra Nevada PGA Match Play Championship on Wednesday at Thunder Canyon Country Club.
Dawson defeated E.J. Pfister of Thunder Canyon 3 and 2 for the title. Dawson advanced to the finals by beating Robert Eaton of Thunder Canyon 5 and 4 in the semifinals. Pfister advanced to the finals by beating Arrow Creek's Martin Chuck 2 and 1.
