RENO, Nev. (AP) -- A Reno man has been arrested as a suspect in a killing in San Jose, Calif., that occurred nearly 22 years ago.
Arthur Radcliffe Jr., 38, was arrested Tuesday on a juvenile warrant charging him in the gang-related killing of Guy Jimenez.
Authorities said Radcliffe and others allegedly crashed a party on July 11, 1981 and got into a fight when they refused to leave. Radcliffe was 16 at the time.
Jimenez, 18, was stabbed and died later at a hospital.
San Jose authorities said several suspects, including Radcliffe, were identified at the time but they lacked evidence to make an arrest.
The case was reopened last summer when detectives found and interviewed more witnesses.
Officials in Reno said Radcliffe was booked into the Washoe County Jail, where he was being held without bail pending his extradition to California.
