This Saturday night, the Plaza Hotel and 76 Racing Fuel will present the final round of the Sierra Mountain SuperSeries at Champion Motor Speedway.
The series features the fastest Charter Super LateModels from Northern Nevada taking on the quickest Pro Stocks from Central California.
This will be the last chance for CMS race fans to witness the fiberglass-bodied stockcars racing for 125 laps.
The overall Sierra Mountain SuperSeries championship will be determined at the All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. on Aug. 30.
The first 500 race fans through the gates will receive a free limited edition 76 Racing antenna ball.
Also on tap are the Limited LateModels, Les Schwab Street Stocks, Legends, Queen Beez, along with the debut of the Fast Four Trophy Dash series, and the Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving kids bicycle races.
CMS will also host a benefit for Loren Davis and Kim Proctor who lost their home to fire. They lost everything they owned including their pets.
The trophy dash winners will once again come to the rescue and pass their helmets through the grandstands right after their presentations.
Tickets are $11 for adults, $9 for seniors and military, $6 for ages 13-18, $4 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under along with event parking.
Waiting in line for food and an ice cold Coors at one of Chris Wyatt's Champions Choice concession areas will be action-packed because showing this weekend at all five Thunder Theater locations will be USAC Silver Crown action from Indianapolis Raceway Park followed by SCCA World Challenge Touring cars from Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.
The pits open at 2 p.m., front gates open at 5 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.
