A funeral for Charlotte May Peterson, 63, a Stagecoach resident, will be at noon Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silver Springs.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Peterson died Aug. 12, 2003, at her home. She was born June 9, 1940, to Raymond Pierce and Alice May Mallory.
She served in the U.S. Army for three years where she was a member of the Women's Army Corps in the medical field. She then worked as a 21 dealer and waitress throughout Northern Nevada for years before retiring from Hawthorne Ammunition Depot in 1991 where she had worked for 23 years. She volunteered as The Sunshine Girl for the Silver Springs Center and dedicated herself to her religion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and aunt Virginia Cecelia Trathen.
Among her survivors are her husband of 34 years William H. ; daughters and sons-in-law Kelly Marie and Homer Clarke and Rhonda Lyn and Michael Hoopes; grandchildren Ashley, Nicole and Zachary Ray Clarke, Kassandra LeeAnn, Kristina Taylor and Katlyn May Marie Hoopes, all of Stagecoach and sister Charlanne Orton of Virginia Beach, Va.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
