A memorial service for Fredrick "Tom" Ballman, 64, a longtime Nevada resident, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Walton Funeral Home, 875 W. Second St., Reno.
Mr. Ballman died Aug. 17, 2003, at home. He was born Dec. 17, 1938, in Placerville, Calif., to Fredrick I. and Jessie Riggs Ballman.
Mr. Ballman was employed by the state of Nevada as a district administrator parole and probation officer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law Eric and Jill, Scott and Cindy and Brett and Krista, all of Reno; brother, David of Dayton; and grandchildren Cory, Zac and Brad.
Private inurnment will be at Carson Memorial Gardens.
