Jack C. Moore, 69, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, died Aug. 12, 2003, at home. He was born March 28, 1934, in Reno.
Before moving to Carson City, he was a longtime resident of Hawthorne.
Mr. Moore was a toolmaker at the Naval Ammunition Depot in Hawthorne for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donald.
Among his survivors are his wife, Rosario "Josie"; sons and daughters-in-law Ray and Cindy of Round Mountain and Jack and Kerry of Safety Harbor, Fla.; son Rod of Carson City; daughter, Maria Renee Moore of San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren; sisters Lois McConnaughey of Alma Gordo, N.M., Dolores Pummill of Dayton and Suzanne Conterno of Elko; brothers Jim of Salem, Ore., and Bob of Bothel, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held in Hawthorne.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley was in charge of arrangements.
