Richard Oliver Adams, 70, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, died Dec. 23, 2003 at Tahoe Pacific Hospital West in Reno.
Mr. Adams was born Oct. 5, 1933 in Wewoka, Okla., to Arthur T. and Viola Cummings Adams. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a retail salesman and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Adams moved to Carson City from Ventura, Calif. He was preceded in death by his brother.
He is survived by his daughters Rhonda Logan of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and Renee Werth of Oklahoma City; brothers John of Carson City and Don of Bellingham, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
No services will be held at his request. FitzHenry's Crematory is in charge of the cremation. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
