Audrey E. Theobald died Dec. 25, 2003, in Las Vegas. She was 77.
A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at Ridgecrest United Methodist Church, 639 N. Norma St., in Ridgecrest, Calif.
She died suddenly of heart failure in a Las Vegas hospital.
Mrs. Theobald was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Kingston, N.Y., to Paul and Helen Lane.
She was the first born of seven siblings and lived in the Woodstock area until she and the family moved to New Jersey.
She moved to Ridgecrest in 1955 and lived here for several years before moving to Nevada, where she met and married Bob Theobald
The couple lived in Carson City for many years before settling in Kingman, Ariz., in 2000.
Mrs. Theobald was a gourmet cook, a beautiful seamstress and an avid card player. She loved to bowl and go camping and fishing in the Sierra Nevada.
Mrs. Theobald was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Lane; brother, James Lane; and granddaughter Kim.
She is survived by her husband; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Nick Gillen; son Michael Dalto and granddaughter Gina Dalto; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Cliff Holske of Las Vegas; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Phil Lilly, sister, Kathleen Fessler; brother and sister-in-law Don and Dale Lane, all of Ridgecrest; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Marilyn Lane of Lake Charles, La.; and dozens of nieces and nephews and cousins from Ridgecrest to New York.
