A private family service for Wanda L. Creasey, 83, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, will be today at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls.
Mrs. Creasey died Feb. 16, 2003, at the Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. She was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Woodville, Idaho, to John Walter and Sarah Louisa Collings Chaffin. She grew up in Rose, Idaho; attended schools in Blackfoot, Idaho; and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1938.
She married Hubert Fredrick "Bert" Creasey in Rose on May 27, 1938. They moved to Idaho Falls and, in 1976, they moved to Carson City.
Mrs. Creasey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a den mother for several years. She enjoyed playing bridge and gin rummy, exercising at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, six sisters, husband and grandson, Rodney F. Jr.
Among her survivors are her sons Reg and Rodney F. of Carson City; sister and brother-in-law, June and Homer Johnson of Blackfoot; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
