Ora "Ruth" Silva, 86, a Dayton resident for the past 20 years, died Feb. 25, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Alma, Ark., to James Franklin and Ida Adline Brown Keffer.
Mrs. Silva was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Stevenson in 1973; sister Goldie Culberson; and brothers Roy and Floyd Keffer.
Among her survivors are her daughters Ida Prescott of Mesa, Ariz., and Ede Lee of Roseville, Calif.; sons Duane Stevenson of Mound House and Ronald Stevenson of Edgewood, N.M.; sister Ann Ray of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
