--Watch local rockers battle it out at Ark-a-ik Cafe & Music Lounge, 555 E. Fourth St. in Reno. The 6 p.m. show is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item, or $5 if you can't raid the pantry.
--Watch the game with former Oakland Raider and Super Bowl champion Mario Celotto at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area lodge, 11603 Slalom Way in Truckee. Celotto will be available for photos and autographs from noon to 1 p.m. and from 3-4 p.m.
--Get high this weekend. Help the National Experimental Aircraft Association meet its goal of flying one million kids by the 100th anniverary of powered flight this December. 'Kids Fly Free in 2003' starts this Saturday and continues on the second Sat. of each month at the Truckee Tahoe Airport. --Out of Bounds Board Shop and Elevation Snowboards sponsor their second annual rail contest at Sierra at Tahoe ski resort. Registration starts at 10 a.m., contest starts at noon and entry is free.
