A girl who was attacked by another girl at Carson High School returned to the hospital Wednesday for more X-rays.
Tests showed no permanent damage to vital organs such as the liver and kidney, officials said.
The freshman suffered a concussion and scratched cornea after being punched and kicked in the head Tuesday morning.
A purse strap was wrapped around her neck. She went into seizures.
She is recovering at home with a headache and other pains.
The attacker was arrested on suspicion of battery.
