I am very sad to hear the news concerning Super Kmart closing. What a terrible disappointment to all of us who have had the wonderful opportunity to work with the great managers and staff in the Carson City store.

I need to point out that some companies run advertisements that say they help, and some just help without the fanfare. Super Kmart has been that quiet company that always stepped up to help any good cause.

I salute your efforts for always supporting your community and a special thank you to, Chris, the store assistant manager, for always putting the children in our community first. You are a great person.

On a happier note, Pam Graber again amazes me with her tireless efforts in raising over $2 million for the new Cancer Center. My mother, Pat Riggs, and Dixie Busch, both cancer survivors, said it was a beautiful event. Great job to Pam and all the supporters.
