Carson boys skiing defeat Reed

Brett Andersen and Danny Rotter finished one-two for the Carson High boys ski team, which stayed unbeated with an 88-55 win over Reed on Tuesday.


Carson improved to 3-0-1. Andersen edged out Rotter for first in the slalom, winning in 32.7 seconds while Rotter placed second in 32.8. Chelsea Anderson also won the girls race for Carson, but it wasn't enough for the Senators, who lost to Reed 80-72..


Also for the boys, James Reavis took third (33.7), And Roullard placed fifth (38.4), Rob Ghiglieri took sixth (38.5) and Caleb McCoy took seventh (39.1).


Anderson won in 33.3 for the Carson girls (2-2). Also for the Senator girls, Jesse Clemmensen placed third (39.5), Gretta Schnaser took fifth (42.6), Dusty Brower placed 11th (46.9) and Erica McAfee took 14th (73.5).
