Boat & Sport Show

As usual, it will be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

This year's version offers more to choose from than ever before.

Attendees will discover the latest makes and models in all kinds of watercraft, recreational vehicles, sporting goods, hunting trips, fishing excursions, etc.

If you're looking for boats, you will find competition ski boats, wake boats, sailboats, specialized fishing boats and other watercraft.

If you're looking for RV's, you will find more than enough for comparisons.

Many exhibitors will be offering show specials on quality equipment and first-rate hunting and fishing adventures all over the West.

Retailers will be offering the latest fishing gear available.

The West's best hunting and fishing guides will share their secrets from trout techniques at the region's premier lakes and streams to training your Labrador retriever at "The Best in The West Seminar Theater"

Feb. 7 at 1-2 p.m. -- Gary Miralles -- Trolling tactics and downrigger basics.

Feb. 7 at 3-4 p.m. -- Joby Cefalu -- Four seasons fishing at Lake Tahoe.

Feb. 7 at 4-5 p.m. -- Richard Dickerson -- Fly fishing Nevada.

Feb. 8 at 3-4 p.m. -- Kirk Portocarrero -- Sacramento River and Feather River salmon techniques.

Feb. 8 at 6-7 p.m. -- Tim O-Shea -- Delta Striper and Sturgeon.

Feb. 9 at 3-4 p.m. -- Bob Byers -- Downrigger fishing.

Show hours are 2-9 p.m. on Thursday, noon to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (62+), $4 for children (6-12) and free for kids under the age of six.
