Cardinal baseball beats Ridgecrest

Cameron Leck had two hits and an RBI to help lead the Carson Cardinals to a 9-7 win over the Ridgecrest Desert Dawgs on Wednesday.

Royal Good added a hit and two RBI for the Cardinals, who begin play at 8 p.m. today in a tournament in Walla Walla, Wash. against the Whalley Chiefs of British Columbia, Canada.

On Friday, the Cardinals will play at 2:30 p.m. against the Sumner (Wash.) Spartans and at 5:15 p.m. against the Walla Walla Bears. The Cardinals will conclude pool play at 5:15 p.m. Saturday against the Mt. Rainier (Wash.) Rams. The tournament concludes on Sunday.
