Jim Wisman, 49, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, died July 10, 2003 at home. He was born March 6, 1954, in Milwaukee to Richard and Dorothy C. Brown Wisman.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Covina, Calif.
Mr. Wisman worked as a quality-control inspector for Aerojet in Chino Hills, Calif. He owned the Blue Note Lounge in Carson City from 1988 to 1994.
He enjoyed working on his computer and loved animals. He was a Catholic.
Among his survivors are his special friend and companion Cindy Elsoujoe; daughter Tami Wisman and sons Jason and Mark, all of Yucca Valley, Calif.; stepfather and mother, Melvin and Dorothy Schreckengost of Carson City; sisters Patricia Wisman of El Cajon, Calif., Kathryn Schreckengost of Milwaukee and Janice Schreckengost of San Mateo, Calif.; brothers John Wisman of Milwaukee, Michael Schreckengost of Idaho and Gerald Schreckengost of California; and nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
