Nate Reno had two hits, including a home run, Konrad Perkins went 3-for-4, Casey Good and Kyle Stone each went 2-for-3 and Jonathan Singer added a hit. Kieth Jones, Michael McSweeney, Dustin Buttner, Mitch Hammond and Cody Swanson all played outstanding defense.
Carson then lost to defending district champion and host Washoe 5-0. Carson kept the game close behind Perkins' strong pitching. Perkins also doubled off the right centerfield fence.
Carson was then eliminated by Reno American West, losing 2-1 in eight innings. Reno pitched a gem through six innings before giving wy to Davidson. Stone, Jones, McSweeney, Bickell, Hammond, Swanson and Good all played outstanding defense. Good also doubled home Stone for Carson's only run.
