A rosary for Margaret Eleanor Pursel, 78, a lifetime resident of Mason Valley, will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Yerington.
Ms. Pursel died July 20, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Mason Valley to Wilton and Alva Williams Pursel.
She attended the Barnett School and graduated from Yerington High School.
Among her survivors are her brothers Morris and Bill; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Nancy; niece and husband, Victoria and Jason Ispisua; and nephew, Joe Pursel.
Burial will be in the family plot at Valley View Cemetery.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
