Rocky Jones, 79, a Carson City resident, died June 2, 2003, of Alzheimer's disease.
Mr. Jones retired as a first class gunner's mate and diver. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War and China, and received several medals.
Among his survivors are his wife, Marylou of Carson City; son, Allen of Hayward, Calif.; daughter, Deborah of Sacramento; nieces Barbara of San Leandro, Calif., and Mary Ellen of Missouri.
Burial will be in the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 705 S. Wells Ave., No. 225, Reno, NV 89502.
Reno Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
