A memorial service for Maxcine M. Goss, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 30 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hilltop Community Church, 3616 N. Sunridge Drive, Jacks Valley.
Mrs. Goss died June 16, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Oklahoma to Francis Oscar and Esther J. Hartman Roten.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived at Incline Village.
Mrs. Goss was a credit manager in the gaming industry.
She was a member of Hilltop Community Church and of the Over the Hilltoppers. She enjoyed Bible study at her church, gardening, ceramics, sewing and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Joseph Goss, in January 1971.
Among her survivors are her son, Joseph of Dayton; daughters Sharon Zink of Carson City and Marilyn Self of Las Vegas; twin brother, Max Roten of Edmon, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
