A memorial service for Nevada Naomi Airy, 60, of Grangeville, Idaho, will be at 10 a.m. July 13 at the city park there.
Mrs. Airy died June 15, 2003, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, of respiratory failure. She was born Dec. 16, 1942, in Kirkland, Wash., to Elsie Kain Schweitzer and Henry S. Ziegler.
She lived in Kirkland from 1942 to 1943, Reno in 1944 and several locations in Oregon and Washington before moving to Port Townsend, Wash., in 1951. In 1955, she moved to Alameda, Calif.
She attended schools in Port Townsend, and LincolnJunior High School and Encinal High School, both in Alameda, Calif.
She married George T. Airy on Jan. 12, 1964, in Reno. They lived in Hilton, N.Y., from 1954 to 1967, then moved to Carson City in 1991. She retired from Kmart as an assistant manager, and they moved to Grangeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents Hazel Auranger and Thomas Kain.
Among her survivors are her husband of Grangeville; daughters and sons-in-law Tina M. and Norman Lowe of Hampton Roads, Va., and Darri L. and Craig Cadwallader of Cottonwood, Idaho; brother and sister-in-law, Henry T. and Pam Ziegler of Grangeville; sister and brother-in-law, Emily Ann and Nick Perros of Grangeville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Malcom's Funeral Home of Lewiston, Idaho, is in charge of arrangements.
