Betty Droegemueller, 78, a Carson City resident for the past seven years, died June 19, 2003, at Evergreen Care Center. She was born Jan. 11, 1925, in San Diego, Calif., to William R. and Ethel M. Clarke Croson.
She married Walter Droegemueller June 19, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minn.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Harker Heights, Texas.
Mrs. Droegemueller was a member of the Valporaiso Guild and Altar Guild. She was a Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother Eric Croson and sister Muriel Birmingham.
Among her survivors are her sons Ford of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mark of Chicago; daughter, Mary Eaton of Carson City; sister, Ruby Wolfe of Minneapolis and six grandchildren including Anthony and Mark Sassi of Carson City.
Services will be at a later date in Minneapolis.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
