A memorial Mass for 22-year Carson City resident Mickey Madden, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 3000 N. Lompa Lane.
Mrs. Madden died March 7, 2003 at home. She was born April 22, 1928, in Urbana, Ill., to Orville John McFarlane Sr. and Hazel Tinnea.
She came to Carson City in 1981 from Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and brother, Orville John McFarlane, Jr.
She worked for Mountain Bell Telephone for 33 years.
Mrs. Madden, a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, was a member of St. Teresa's Guild and the Natives and Newcomers Club.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, volunteering, and arts and crafts. She was active in the Carson City Telephone Pioneers' Hug a Bear program and with the Cancer Resource Center.
She is survived by her son, Greg Paloolian of Reno; daughter, Kelli Paloolian of Pasadena, Calif.; sister, Florence Bauer of Phoenix; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. Memorials can be sent to the Cancer Resource Center at 900 N. Minnesota St., Carson City, NV 89702.
