A memorial service for Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Martin, 51, a longtime Carson City resident and lifetime Nevada resident, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Martin died March 19, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born June 16, 1951, in Reno, to Bobb and Alma Lorigan and was the youngest of three children.
She had recently retired from the Nevada Appeal.
Among her survivors are her stepfather Robert Warren, daughters Taran Holt of San Francisco and Shawna Holt of Carson City and grandchildren Michael Martin and Kendra Martin, both of Carson City.
A private family burial will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
