A service for Albert M. "Al" Dailey, 78, a Carson City resident for the past 21 years, will be at 2 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Daily died March 24, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
In his early years, Mr. Dailey was a thoroughbred trainer on the horse racing circuit. His life's work involved working with and training horses around the country in the thoroughbred racing business. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Among his survivors are his wife Mary P. of Carson City; son Pat of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Jan and Cheryl of Reno; daughters Sherrie Dailey of Austin, Texas and Mary E. Carver of Hemet, Calif.; grandchildren Robert J., Robert W., Crissey, Joleen, Joi, Stacey, Lori, Jamie C., Chris and Michelle and 11 great-grandchildren.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
